Learning from returns

Your returns know which items run small. HeyFit listens.

That’s what sets HeyFit apart from a plain size chart: the advice adjusts, item by item, from what your returns say.

The path of a return

From the returned parcel to corrected advice

  1. A shopper returns an item as “Too small”

In HeyReturn, from the same Heylio suite, which automatically sends HeyFit the items returned for a size reason.

  2. HeyFit counts it, for that product

Product by product, all sizes together, in the “What your returns say” screen.

  3. The advice adjusts

On the product page, shoppers see the recommended size, the size from the chart and the reason for the shift.

The rules, in black and white

No black box

3

returns in the same direction

A trend appears in your back-office (“runs small”, “runs large”), to be confirmed.

5

returns in the same direction

It becomes advice: the size offered to shoppers shifts by one size, and the size from the chart stays displayed next to it, with the explanation.

You stay in control

No HeyReturn? Declare it yourself.

In “What your returns say”, state that an item runs small, runs large or fits true to size. Your declaration always wins over what returns say, and applies straight away.

Privacy

Returns, not people

From HeyReturn, HeyFit only receives the product, the sizes and the return reason. Not the shopper’s name, email, order or comment.

Your questions

Questions about learning

How does HeyFit learn from my returns?

If your store uses HeyReturn, from the same Heylio suite, it automatically sends HeyFit the items returned for a size reason (“Too small”, “Too large”). HeyFit counts them product by product, in the “What your returns say” screen.

  • From 3 returns that say which way an item is off, a trend appears (“runs small”, “runs large”), to be confirmed.
  • From 5, it becomes advice: on the product page, the size suggested to the customer moves by one size, and the size from the chart stays visible next to it, with the explanation.
I don’t use HeyReturn. Can I still correct the size?

Yes: in “What your returns say”, state yourself that a product runs small, runs large or is true to size. Your statement always takes precedence over what returns say, and applies right away.
