How it works

Up and running in four steps, without touching your theme’s code.

HeyFit installs from the Shopify admin and opens inside it. On the home screen, the “Get started with HeyFit” list guides you, and its steps tick themselves off.

In four steps

From installation to the first recommendation

  1. Install

    From your store’s Shopify admin. Shopify asks you to allow HeyFit to read your catalog, then HeyFit opens inside the admin.

    • No extra account to create
    • Catalog read only (read_products)
    • Back-office in six languages (EN, FR, ES, DE, IT, NL)
  2. Create a size chart

    Start from a template (tops, bottoms or other), enter your measurements by hand, or import the chart you already have: as a CSV, or with AI from a screenshot, a web page or a product description.

    • Chest, waist, hips, inseam: a minimum and a maximum per size
    • Centimeters or inches
    • HeyFit flags overlapping sizes
    • AI import: 20 per day, a suggestion you review before creating the chart
    • History of the last 50 changes
  3. Assign it

    To products, a collection, a product type, or the whole store.

    • The most specific one wins: product, collection, type, then the default chart
    • HeyFit checks that the chart’s sizes match the product’s sizes
    • Products without a chart can be found and assigned in one go
  4. Turn on the button

    Add the “Find my size (HeyFit)” block to your theme’s Product template, or turn on the automatic embed on older themes.

    • A link opens the theme editor with the block ready to place
    • Button text, appearance and colors can be adjusted
    • Never two buttons: the automatic embed steps aside for the block

For shoppers, the product page

A clear guide, in the store’s language

  • Two tabs: “My size” and “Size chart”
  • “How to measure”: where to place the tape, for each measurement
  • Centimeters or inches, as the shopper prefers, whatever your chart’s unit
  • A recommended size, a confidence level and the detail measurement by measurement
  • Don’t know their measurements? “I don’t know them”: height, weight and age give an estimated recommendation, labeled as such
  • “Select size …” picks the right variant
  • Their measurements stay on THEIR device for your other products if they ask (box unticked by default): nothing is sent

The Products screen

Each product’s chart and where it comes from, its size returns, and the products without a chart, to assign in one go.

Statistics

Recommendations shown and the share of shoppers who select the recommended size, over 7, 30 or 90 days.

Size chart history

Who changed what, and when. A previous version is restored in one click, without touching assignments.

Your questions

Questions that come up

Can I import my table with AI?

Yes: “Create a size chart”, then “Import with AI”, from one of these sources:

  • an image: a screenshot of your size table (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF);
  • a public web page: the size guide on your site or the brand’s;
  • the description of a product in your store that already contains the table.

The AI (Anthropic’s Claude, via OpenRouter) reads the table and suggests a size chart, with the points to check. Nothing is created on its own: you review every size and measurement, fix what needs fixing, then click “Create the size chart”. Only the content you chose is sent, once, and it isn’t kept: no customer data.

20 AI imports per store per day (the counter resets at midnight, Paris time); an import the AI service couldn’t process isn’t counted. Importing is reserved for owners and administrators; on the Free plan, you need a free slot for the chart.

My customer doesn’t know their measurements. Can they still get advice?

Yes: in “My size”, they choose “I don’t know them” and enter their height, weight, age and body type (female, male or not specified). The guide estimates their measurements in their browser, from public anthropometric reference data, then recommends a size as usual.

The advice is shown as estimated, less reliable than with real measurements; if the customer falls between two sizes, the guide says so and recommends the more likely one. Their height, weight and age are never sent to our servers, which only receive the estimated measurements. The Statistics screen separates advice based on measurements from estimated advice.

My theme is older and has no app blocks. What should I do?

Use the automatic embed: in the theme editor, open “App embeds” and turn on “Find my size — automatic embed (HeyFit)”. The button places itself below the add-to-cart button, on every theme, older ones included (Debut…).

If you also add the regular block to the product page, the automatic embed steps aside: the button never shows twice.

The button doesn’t show on a product. Why?

The button only shows when everything is in place:

  • a size chart applies to the product (see “How do I assign a size chart to my products?” below);
  • at least one size of that chart matches the product’s sizes (an “S, M, L” chart can’t serve a product sized “38, 40, 42”);
  • the block or the automatic embed is turned on in the published theme;
  • on the Free plan, the size chart is your published one (the first you created): the others are kept but only show with HeyFit.

In the theme editor, a notice tells you when no size chart applies to the product shown, or when its sizes don’t match the product’s. Otherwise, the product page works normally, just without the button.
